Wednesday 12th October
Finish the Reading Response Activities for lessons 4 (Song activity) and Lesson 5 (Newspaper activity). With the newspaper activity.
With your Newspaper activity, remember the following things:
1. Give it a headline that will grab the reader's attention.
2. Give an introduction to your article, making sure that you have stated the 5Ws (When, Where, Who, What, Why). Remember this should be in 1-2 sentences only.
3. Body of the article: Develop the How and Why of the story in more detail. Remember to icnlude quotes from witnesses to the event (i.e. from other characters in the story)
Also, go back over your work for the unit in terms of the grammar and vocabulary learnt. You can also have a look at the upcoming assessment that you will be doing after the October break - this is on pages 12 and 13 of the Insight book. Make sure that you bring all of the text books with you to class on your return after the October break
